Glowing Green Smoothie

Some people might cringe at the idea of a green smoothie, but other people’s faces might light up at the thought of it. Guess which group I fall into? Hint: Definitely NOT the cringing one. So all in all, I love my green smoothies. Since I first got into them about 2-3 years ago, this has been my go-to. So keep reading for a nutrient packed green smoothie for nothing less than vibrant energy and glowing skin.

Leafy Greens

Obviously, this is what makes the green smoothie, well, green. You have a lot of leeway with this as you can use anything from spinach to kale. Personally, I like to use the Power Blend as it has a fusion of good-for-you greens such as spinach, kale, lettuce, and other awesome ingredients.

Mango

Mangoes are great for you as they have are very high in antioxidants thus, reducing the risk of cancer, lowers cholesterol, clears skin, improves eye health, alkalizes the whole body, improves digestion, and reduces the risk of heat strokes — so basically it’s good for you. Did I mention there are more benefits?

Pineapple

I’m not sure if you could tell by now but I’m kinda going along with the whole seasonal fruit theme here. Pineapples add a boost of flavor and freshness to the smoothie while once again promoting overall health. Pineapples are rich in minerals, vitamins, and nutrients so they increase your intake of potassium, copper, manganese, calcium, vitamin c and much more. Yeah, super-food central.

Chia Seeds

Chia seeds are one of my favorite super-foods ever as they’re basically just little seeds that are amazing for your health and digestion but don’t have a taste. They cleanse and rid your system of any toxins that may be messing with your body to reach its highest potential. Plus, you can put them anywhere, so not only in a smoothie. I love putting them in nice cream, yogurt, toast, basically anything…

Coconut Water

Definitely optional as I know some people despise coconuts. Clearly, I don’t. Coconut water is packed with natural sugars, minerals, and loads of electrolytes to deeply replenish your body’s thirst.

And blend! Who said simple smoothies couldn’t be quick, delicious, AND healthy?

Not me.
