Get Your Groove On Ft. Travel Update

As you all may know by now, I’ve been road tripping around Europe. I started off in Dubrovnik, Croatia, then to Split, Croatia, Bosnia, Zagreb, Slovenia, Austria, and now I’m in Prague, Czech Republic! So obviously, I’ve been spending a lot of time lately in the car. I used to be shit at car rides not because I had motion sickness but because I’m probably the most impatient person in the world. Turns out, the only thing I need to get me through at least two hours in the car is a great playlist with a great view.

Road tripping is a popular choice for travel in the summertime and since it’s summertime, what’s more suitable than sharing my groovy new playlist? Oh, and since I’m in Prague, here are a few pictures from today (Prague), and a few days prior (Slovenia & Austria) as a little travel update.

I swear, I’m moving to Europe when I’m older. The culture here is absolutely insane! There’s so much life and buzz at every corner and at every time. In the US, shops close around 5-7pm and the streets are dead silent past 9pm. But here? Oh my God. The streets are filled with people of all ethnicities and backgrounds and there’s live music and people drinking wine while watching the sunset, it’s a totally different vibe in the absolutely best way possible. I’m obsessed.

To feed my obsession, here are some pictures and some great music to go along with it.

A little selfie for your Monday. I am aware that I was peeling horribly, I spent too much time in the sun…

Brenda, great post! I’m going to the Balkans for the first time in a few weeks, Croatia primarily to visit wineries (we live in Napa Valley and are in the wine biz). But your Slovenia picture really caught my attention so I’ve decided to make sure we take a trip through there from Venice. Thanks for sharing, the words and pictures were inspiring! I love the photos you used! They’re all so beautiful and artsy. The puppy was so cute! You also look so chic in them, especially in the one from Slovenia haha
And as for my favorite travel destination…I don’t really have one. I guess that LA and Nicaragua are both cool in their own ways (haha they’re one of the only places I’ve traveled to aside from where I’m from xD). I am thankful for LA’s cleanliness and I love its bustling atmosphere. As for Nicaragua, although it’s a more risky travel destination, it’s really pretty, and the people there are all so kindhearted.
I would like to go to Hawaii, Korea, Japan, and Taiwan someday (and I have a feeling that at least one of those places will become a favorite travel destination of mine), but you’re making a trip to Europe sound really appealing 😛

Wow, thank you! Whenever I receive comments like yours my heart fills with joy. I love LA, such a cool atmosphere indeed and Nicaragua seems incredible, I want to go now! And same, I’ve wanted to go to Hawaii and Japan for yeeeaaaars now! If you ever get the chance, visit Europe. There’s so much history behind everything and the views…wow. xxXX
